Many of us have heard of a certain virus that goes by the name of “The FIFA Virus” But many people have chosen to eliminate the truth of its existence, while another group of people chose to emphasize it’s seriousness, its importance and it’s major role in the game. Many critics say that when Spanish teams lose a game, which happens to be right after an international break, they quickly blame it on the FIFA Virus. But do they really know the true circumstances behind the declaration? In this article, I am hoping to leave you with your own conclusions as to whether the FIFA virus is, indeed, fact or fiction. I will be examining all European action for the Champions League to the Europa League. First thing’s first, lets start with the Champions League and precisely; 4 teams, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, 3 of which suffered defeats after return from International Action. Lets begin shall we? Please feel free to leave your opinions and comments at the bottom!
